03/24

Tuesday-Today I decided to help out with the construction effort, and found a lot of wood chips in my face, it seems the type of wood we're working on breaks easily and centimeter sized pieces of wood fly and strike the skin several times a second. Due to the completely distracting process I found it very difficult to make a straight cut.

03/23

Monday- I updated an entire week's worth of blogging and also checked on how the builders were doing on the catapult.

Friday-I won't lie, what I did today was work on finding simulation sites. Badly, I may add. Search engines weren't cooperating in the way I wanted them to as I was a lousy researcher. Thankfully I am prideless enough to ask for help repeatedly in an annoying and whiny fashion to people a lot more skilled in computer information research.

03/19

Thursday-I made the counterweight and the arm on my sketchup design, and was quite pleased. I used the line tool often and was able to, somehow, avoid lots of the glitches and made the arm in the size and angle to the appearance I desired. Whoop-tee-doo.

03/18

Wednesday-I was pulled out of class to do my skit in Ms.Whigham's 1st period. So I didn't get too much done today besides working on Sketchup a bit. I also noted the several problems of the sketchup design to the dismay of one of my team members.

03/17

Tuesday-We didn't do a lot today, we watched a Romeo and Juliet movie, and all I did was update my blog a bit. I did a little work on Skettchup but no changes worth mentioning.

Friday-Another mellow day, we took a quiz on absolute value that took up most of the hour. I hope I did well, not alot of questions, so if I miss one, it could damage my score by a lot.

03/12

Thursday-Today we didn't do much either, instead we learned a little bit more about absolute value, did a worksheet on it with problems that included variables so there were 2 answers, easier to do than explain.

Wednesday-We didn't do too much today, we reviewed someone and watched some videos. I worked on the sketchup just a little bit.

03/10/09

Tuesday-Today we mostly relearned about the algebra term "absolute value" its the quantity of something away from zero. In this case, and number, negative or positive, would have a positive number away from zero, for instance, you can't be -10 ft away from someone, as my teacher said. You can be 10 ft away. We then did a few algebra problems involving variables and were told to find 2 answers for each so it was either /#/ or /-#/.

03/09-Monday- Today we watched a video on NASA and I worked a bit on the Trebuchet Sketchup design.

03/05/09

03/05/09-Thursday, I messed with my links seeing as they didn't work and thought it would just be easier to create a little blog. Here it is...whoopee... Put all previous days on here and stuff. Messed with Google sketch up some more and tried to fix up my site.

03/04/09

03/04/09-Wednesday-Got started on the 3-D design on Google sketch up, watched some videos on it, and had some work done. I go the base down but am having trouble putting the angled supports, and weights on it. At least I started. Yay. :`

03/03/09

03/03/09-Tuesday-We received roles today, I’m in charge of making the design and making the simulation…whoopee… I suppose the simulation would be a little difficult to know how to do, but easy once you've learned how, but I don't know how, so it should be a while. Design Making...tough, no questions. However, I don't suppose anyone else will do it considering the job placements everyone else has.
